Antenna options

We recommend:

For 5G Service:
QuadMini: 4x4 MIMO

For 4G Service: WeBoost 4G antennas + Adapters for WeBoost antenna (SMA female to TS9)
Be sure to attach to a metal surface. This can be a vehicle, pie pan, etc. but must be used to radiate the signal.
OR:
Netgear MIMO antenna (no adapters needed, connects directly into your two TS9 ports)

For a more professional solution:
Antenna Gear (you can buy one or two antennas, as your device will have two ports). We are not experts in antennas, so if you have additional questions about pros/cons and which particular unit is best for you, we recommend you contact this seller directly.

Things to Consider
When using an external antenna, you are disabling the internal antennas of your device. Hotspots have anywhere from 2-8 internal antennas to simultaneously connect to multiple cellular frequencies. By using an external antenna you will be limiting yourself to a single antenna. In cases of poor signal, an external antenna can make a huge difference, because the antennas can be placed outdoors, etc. But if you have medium to excellent signal strength, an external antenna may have negative effects on your service speeds.
